Made in Old Town
This brand system was developed for an urban renewal project in Portland’s Old Town / Chinatown district. Designed to be bold and energetic, the identity intentionally retained a sense of rawness and incompleteness — a reflection of both the location and the spirit of transformation.
Rooted in place, the system aimed to communicate fresh potential while remaining grounded and honest, particularly for an audience within the footwear and apparel industry. It needed to feel relevant to creative thinkers, while also carrying enough structure and restraint for more formal settings.
The result was a straightforward but flexible system — one that could hold its own when the volume was turned up, but also scale back when the conversation called for something more measured.
