The seasonal creative direction of the club was built around the launch the new ‘Portland Plaid’ shirt concept. We sought to give greater meaning to the design, pushing beyond the obvious tie-in to the Northwest. Instead I created a visual toolkit based on the interconnectedness, resilience and civic pride of Portlanders and Timbers supporters. the toolkit delivered a fresh perspective on design, photography, language and storytelling and became the basis for all marketing work across social media, pr, email and campaign creative.
